Book Groups

To meet the amount of interest that has been shown in the book group run by the Friends, we have now set up a second group which meets at the Quarterhouse. Books are chosen by members on an annual basis and represent a wide range from classics to modern fiction and some non-fiction. Opinions will often differ, but this leads to lively and interesting discussions. The book groups are well supported by the local library service and library copies of chosen books are generally available.

The Quarterhouse book group meets in the Clearing on the second Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm. If you would like to join, please email Stuart Sheach

The Grand book group meets at the Grand, on the Leas, on the first Thursday of the month at 7.30pm. For information please email Angela Conyers Please note that this group is currently full.
